This has been wargammed out for months. It's all tactical politics for maximum effect. The media and social media took the first round and went into over-drive to sweep it under the carpet. They know how the media works and how they'll do everything to divert America's attention away from it with more Rona stories about cases "spiking!" This doesn't give them a chance to breath and they have to create new methods to squash it or they'll just sound like they're repeating themselves.
