I played around with the Electoral Map on RCP and I have Trump winning but it's going to be tight. But I'm fairly confident now as I'm combining some of the early voting results with polling data and overall sentiment.
I have Trump winning with 274. Loses AZ and PA, but otherwise keeps all the other states from 2016. I Was worried about WI and MI for a while but early voting looks good imo in those 2 states unlike PA. I gave the various congressional districts to Biden just for the heck of it.
PA Republicans are terrified of voter fraud, so they will only vote on Election day. They will outvote Dems 3-1 on Election day, so the Dems have to be way up in early voting if they want to counter this
PA has trended more red since 2016. Dems have lost 200k registered voters, and only 6 out of 67 counties added more Dem voters than Rep
Nothing like this time around though. Too many states with hundreds of thousands, millions even, of uncontrolled and unverifiable mail-in ballots, with requests sent to everyone ever registered, even if moved or dead. This is going to be a certified shit show.
Yes, you're probably right, but just as we're aware of this, so is POTUS and his team. I'm hoping there are safeguards that they have put into place to help prevent this.
I've seen different fraud cases come up in the news lately, which means they are being caught and many decisions (in different states) about the extended deadline for the mail in ballots have been overturned by the courts.
Agreed. I am optimistic that a lot of the overt cheating (counting votes received for days after the election, no post marks, waiving signatures, etc.) is being fought successfully in the courts

But no, Biden will likely not win then. Each state in the House gets 1 vote, so the Dems advantage is largely nullified because the Reps actually have more states

Don't count out PA. New Republican voter registrations are up strong. I think we will go bigger for Trump in 2020 than in 2016.
