Without owning 99% of all newspapers, magazines, movie and record studios, web services, Sichuan forums, fact checkers, etc etc etc.. Oh definitely. They spent the better part of a decade fundamentally changing what "left" means.

Trumpism is now more of a worker's party than what we call leftism today. Trumpism is more of a haven for civil liberties and individual freedom than what we call liberalism today.
