I'll add to what the other poster said, Hunter dropped off the laptops for data recovery from water damage. He apparently forgot them. The repair guy attempted to contact him for months after the contract deadline.
By law, after 90 days without payment, the laptop and all contents are now owned by the repair shop. He turned over a copy of hard drives to fbi, and they did nothing. He gave a second copy indirectly to the nypost.
Supposedly there's some really bad foreign corruption stuff, as well as some really dark porn stuff...allegedly involving kids in China.
