Australia is such a vast continent, I feel like the small pockets of coastal populations are more and more disconnected from the agriculture and other primary industry which keeps us prosperous. Just like the rest of the world, these pockets have been compromised - blindsided by the advent of the combination of cell phones and the internet. Nothing will ever be the same. An entire generation of youth has now been brain-fried by unfettered internet access and modern entertainment.
No wonder there isn’t much resistance in Melbourne. There’s less toughness, less organisation among the general populace of Australia - who I would posit, on average, are physically weaker and less skilled/equipped in the basics of survival and warfare than at any time in our short history.
For those who are non Australians - we already have one of these that you need to fill out on the plane that is to stop any foreign bugs and other ecological issues getting into the environment, this is just updating an extra tick box for COVID.
Every country I have been to including the USA has one of these, this is not super interesting.
