France was actually militarily decent and they one of the only countries in Europe that is skeptical of American Military presence, so if we ever want to pullback there is a case to be made we should push them to start taking care of themselves and point to France.

Both towns used to be way lefty, but the last decade has seen a a death spiral that is scary.

Look at Amazon. They moved into Seattle and are now moving back out.
