I read 1984, so I did imagine that day.

ALSO THIS ARTICLE IS FROM THIS PAST FRIDAY 16OCT20

Except the title is accurate. The article can be shared now. Using bold makes your wrong comment all the more sad.

1984 should be required reading for everyone. 2020 is the closest to that hellscape that I have seen and I hope that we can fix it.

Now that Twit and FB have spent a week calling it lies and preventing the big splash from hitting. mmhm. I'm sure Jerk Dorsey will tell the Senate that it was all a big misunderstanding.

14
Thewickersnipper 14 points ago +14 / -0

Too bad Jack! Charles Manson misunderstood the Beatles too. .. It’s an old reference. Look it up kids lol

10
booblitchutz 10 points ago +10 / -0

I don't think I've ever really thought about comparing Manson and Jack Dorsey, but when you put their pictures side by side...

Those eyes say "Helter Skelter" and it could effectively be argued that Twitter's mission is to bring about a race war that they would ultimately be the beneficiaries of...

So really your remark seems more correct after evaluation.

BlackFlag 3 points ago +3 / -0

Helter Skelter!

CyberSecGuy 1 point ago +1 / -0

"We forwaded your sterwnry witten lettah on to da awguhwivvem" - Dorsey as he is sucking Joes 90 year old chode.

Did they allow New York Post to access their twitter account again yet? Hint, they haven't, they still have no new posts since the 14th ( https://mobile.twitter.com/EmmaJoNYC/status/1318134074385571840 ) You know, last March during the Joe Rogan / Tim Pool / Jack Dorsey podcast (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZCBRHOg3PQ) I was kind of impressed by Jack in that he seemed humbled, said they messed up, and need to do better.

Until I realize that is just his go-to talking point when he knows they are in trouble, he says the same shit over and over again, and still twitter doesn't change anything.

This is the burning man tech ceo false humility that echoes off the walls in silicon valley unfortunately. It is all the right sounds, none of the substance.

Verify, don't trust!

Damage was already done.

Restricting the sharing of news damaging to one candidate while amplifying the sharing of news damaging to another represents undeclared in-kind donations and is 1) illegal, 2) election interference

52 U.S.C. § 30109(a)(5)(B): https://codes.findlaw.com/us/title-52-voting-and-elections/52-usc-sect-30109.html

Not a trolling fuckhead, but how is this different than Trump appearing on Rush Limbaugh? I would love to call it election interference if Twitter did it, but it seems hypocritical...?

(Ok, Rush gave them the chance for equal time. Retracted.)

... Editorializing the content of user content hosted on a platform is COMPLETELY different from interviewing a political figure. I don't see how that's not easily apparent to any person.

1
kd5ywa 1 point ago +1 / -0

So forget the trolling part, you're just the 2nd part of that? (Not my choice of words, they were yours).

41
NahNovaBrah 41 points ago +41 / -0

Don't forget that the guy who got his teeth knocked out by Antifa ( Philip Anderson , http://teamsaveamerica.com/ ) - was protesting the right to free speech...

Wait for it ...

In front of the Twitter HQ in San Francisco! You seriously can't make this shit up in a Hollywood Studio... I wouldn't be shocked if Jack sent down one of his paid goons to shut down the rally.

But wait there is more...

After posting photos and videos of the event, Philip was BANNED from Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram?

Crazy times frens...

Exactly. They haven't bent the knee at all.

3
Greatest_adventure 3 points ago +3 / -0

Then why has OP misled us here? Don’t we have to deal with enough lying from the Radical Dems?

For the upvotes? Idk

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how Twitter can lock a publication's Twitter account unless/until they delete an article from their own site. How is it any of Twitter's business what the New York Post publishes, and how can they lock someone's Twitter account unless they delete something not on Twitter?

3
MaximumMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

They don't have to remove it from their own site they just have to delete the tweets with links to the story hosted on the NY Post website

1
PhilipeNegro 1 point ago +1 / -0

Easily: la revolución is about information control, not liberation, in service of filling a power vacuum with a chosen person or group.

It doesn't have to make sense, as long as it accomplishes what it's supposed to.

16
HonkThatBitch 16 points ago +16 / -0

There is no way to stop this, now.

15
TrumpTrainChoooChoo2 15 points ago +15 / -0

No they haven’t, NY Post is still locked out of their twitter account.

The worst thing we can do now is to pretend like this is a victory for our side. They sucessfully censored an article from being published at a crucial time, allowed Dem propagandist at CNN and the like to run interference, "fact check" the article, and are now allowing this "debunked" article to be posted.

They need to be taken down. Too much on the right we think getting fucked up the ass for 3 min instead of 5 min is some triumph for us owning the libs or whatever.

6

They allow it to be shared but the the ny post is still locked from posting anything unless they delete the article? Wtf kind of logic is that. They didnt bend the knee.

While still spreading the lie that it's hacked material.

4
OhShnigums 4 points ago +4 / -0

Worthless fucks.

4
Staatssicherheit 4 points ago +4 / -0

They just wanted to stop the spread of the viral article when it was brand new. Now that the some Democrats have been "vaccinated" with the "It's all a hoax from Russia" mass delusion, they are "allowing" it.

Tear Twitter up into a billion pieces.

In other words, they realize this whole story has been Streisand Effected by them, it's way past their ability to control now, so no point in continuing to look like a bad guy.

4
DwellerMike 4 points ago +4 / -0

But doesn't allow NYPOST to be back on twitter themselves.

3
fdagasfd 3 points ago +3 / -0

Twitter on Friday reversed its controversial editorial decision to block users from sharing an unverified New York Post story that purports to show “smoking gun” emails related to Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his son.

"Unverified"? The Director of National Intelligence not enough for you CNBC?

They try so hard.

3

That is not enough. Rudy and the President need to write legislation that makes the tech giants responsible for everything that is published, because they are not platforms any more.

Translation: Twitter has cut a deal with SenGoP. It will take Trump himself using FEC and FCC to fix this corruption.

2
Pigpenlordofdirt 2 points ago +2 / -0

I like how they wrote "backtracked" instead of "did the right thing"

2

Bending the knee were not forcing him to do something hes not supposed to. Were forcing him to follow the first fucking amendment. What a piece of shit.
