Went to two gamestops this weekend and both said no sales without a mask. Guess I know one business that won't see another dime of my money. Didn't they stay open when everyone else closed?

At least you live somewhere that EVERY BUSINESS isn't being REQUIRED to have this policy.......
At least you can just say "I'll go somewhere else." So many places have health departments that are shutting down businesses who "don't comply."
This is the worst thing I've ever seen in America... worse than 9/11 I'd say... worse than the "turmoil" of the 60s and 70s, which was nothing by comparison.
North Carolinian, can confirm.
Agreed. My mayor instituted a mask mandate that requires business owners to "prohibit entrance" of customers who aren't wearing a mask. The rule doesn't say people are required to wear them, just that you cannot buy or sell without one... hmmmm where have I heard that before? cough six cough six cough six cough
Illinois made masks mandatory since May 1st. I don't understand why no one has sued yet. Well, I do know why. Everyone is scared of the democrats. I for one own a small business and I know if I sued they would destroy me. I suppose everyone has something to lose.
Stupid move on their part, they are on their deathbed already because of shitty customer service and the 'vid
Gamestop stayed open later than they were supposed to and faced a lot of backlash

I stopped using them after their credit card breach between August 10, 2016 and February 9, 2017.
The thief funneled funds into an Uber account. Just stole 100 dollars with several transactions.
So yeah, fuck em.
Gamestop is somehow an essential business...
"Bread and Circuses" is now "Nexflix and Vidia Games."
Contrary to popular belief, the commies do know what they are doing.
Video games are nothing but a time sink, stop wasting your time on them.
You're 100% right. I used to spend a lot of time playing games, and watching sports. It's alright when you're young, but eventually you should cut it out of your life. Get yourself a good girlfriend/future wife if you don't yet have one.
I still love sports, but it's a waste of time watching them. Now I just play sports and teach my kids how to play.
Spend more time with the family, and enjoy the outdoors/nature. Do some canoeing, fishing, hiking, etc. Go on little trips/vacations more often. You don't need to spend a lot of money. Concentrate more on achieving goals in life!
OK, Boomer
I'm 30 and put well over a year of gameplay, maybe two, on various platforms. 284 days in WoW alone. Halos, cod, destiny, gears, elderscrolls, titanfall, apex, list goes on and on. Videogames, comics, starwars, etc was my life. I actually thank Disney for breaking that hold on me a little. Yeah i played sports and also worked out a lot, but i used that as an excuse to waste a metric fuck ton of time in games.
He's right, it's just a fact. It doesn't mean they are not fun, a way to relax, a good way to catch up with friends sometimes. I still play.
But they are 100% a waste of time generally speaking in terms of productivity. No better than watchings sports or any other thing in front of the tv.
It's okay to "waste" time here and there, we just have to be conscious of it and find balance.
Even if i'm enjoying games or tv now i get that "im wasting" time feeling. I use my time to be more productive thanks to that feeling. Saving these things for rare occasions and once i'm already beat from working out or on projects. Or only with friends became a big secondary rule for me. It's more about the interactions for me in most games.
I still play games, watch tv, etc.... But i know they are a waste of time. And that's okay. Just don't waste to much.
I know there are alot of good things that can come from playing games, but i was one of those people that used that as an excuse to play way to much.
No different than marathon runners or powerlifters running their body into the ground later in life. It's impressive, and takes dedication... But what's the point. Too much of a good thing.... yada yada yada
I went in without a mask not long ago. They didn’t mess with me.
Lucky you?
I’m just saying. Lol.
They said if i let you in i could get in trouble so told them that means I won't be back they shrugged I walked.
I’m in rural South Georgia and while most of the chain businesses have corporate policies posted, none are enforced. They know they’re in God’s country.
Gamestops before the pandemic were a biohazard I'm not sure why now of all times you'd want to go in without one.
