They make a big point of this everywhere they go.

In 'civilized' societies they do everything they can to take over old churches and turn them into mosques and the first thing they do is have a big 'tear the cross down' celebration. As they successfully make those societies less civilized, they start doing it to the ones they don't own. People start to move, they pick up the property and create another no-go zone.
