It’s very foundation is that humanity found a way to end all limitation on resources. In essence humanity found a way to make resources infinite. Which can never happen IRL.
H&I Network runs TOS, TNG, DS9, STV, and Enterprise six nights a week.
TOS was progressive as hell for its time, but the stories were very American and represented the ethos of western civilization quite well. I like tuning into the last ten minutes of each show every now and then since I've seen them all a dozen times each, and there is usually some great, timeless wisdom dropped then.
TNG is utter marxist trash. Nearly every episode is bent and twisted to somehow shoehorn a leftarded lesson into it. I think of that shit as a cringe emetic. I'm glad Gomer Pyle comes on at the same time.
The other three series didn't even try to hide the fact that they were soap operas.
I only got over-the-air TV for about a year and a half after I bought my first house and H&I and ION were the only channels I watched.
TOS and Blue Bloods were my staples. Blue Bloods really won me over with the fact that it's pretty much the only TV series where I've seen what I would consider a fair portrayal of Catholicism and its values. After years of modern shows where the only representation of my faith was corrupt bishops and abusive priests, I actually teared up a bit when I realized that every single episode ended with the whole family getting together to pray before Sunday dinner.
I love how leftists are like "I don't understand how anyone could be a Star Trek fan and be conservative."
I'm like "are you fucking kidding me? The Ferengi are the best part of Trek."
Ferenghi were more like pirates. They had loyalty to nobody, even their own partners.
even TNG has Q to drop knowledge from time to time
And their Q was also just a LARPing tease. He was the weakling amongst his own people, yet wanted to be thought of as a God.
yeah remember when Corbin Bernson took his powers away?
Trek did the same thing as the far left though they espouse a utopian society without any explanation of how it actually works. Hint: it doesnt.

It was an imagined Utopia... plenty of wrong and strife and conflict still existed.
