It more than once has open the door to a polite discussion on my concerns about the validity of the threat, while respecting the pressure on the store owners to comply. If they say nothing, I’m a drop in the bucket for emboldening others to shed the talisman too.

Wolf has threatened to put places out of business if they don't comply with the mask mandate, so I don't want to hassle an employee who is just doing what they're told.
