I just talked to a hyper leftist here in the Bay that was complaining about Trump trying to pull a coup by urging people vote in person and warning that mail in voting doesn’t work well at that scale. Tried talking to her politely and there was no scenario of Trump winning for her that isn’t the result of a coup because people here in our hyper left part of CA mostly drank the CNN Koolaide. It’s ridiculous.
I miss the days where if my guy lost, I immediately moved on, not tried for four years to burn the system down and threaten violence against anyone disagreeing with me.
The question is why are manufacturers slow-rolling N95 masks? This whole scenario is superficial at this point:
If YOU are still afraid, YOU wear an N95. They're still out there and easily purchased (but Google tries hard to keep you from finding them by blocking their searchability in google shopping).
If there IS any degree of national shortage at this point, then push production like the gov did with ventilators rather than their production of face shields etc..
Problem solved, everyone returns to their normal of choice, no more "universal" masking requirements based on the ineffective masks.
Even if masks worked I wouldn’t mandate them. It isn’t the place of the government to be micromanaging all aspects of your life. I don’t like almost any law of compulsion on principle, either.
