We've all seen the pictures of Hunter with a crack/meth pipe in his mouth. It's a well-known fact that he struggles with addiction. However, that's a small, small issue compared to his and Joe's corruption. In fact, going after Hunter because of his addiction is a MISTAKE.

Lots of people struggle with addiction. Lots of good people, too. Donald Trump and his supporters have never had an issue with addicts, but with dealers. Fentanyl for instance, that's dealt with at the border, not by going after opioid addicts. Get them the help they need. Hunter could be the biggest crackhead in the universe but that's not important, what's important is how he used his daddy's position to make money.

I guess you could say it's stronger evidence that Burisma shouldn't have hired him. He spoke no Ukrainian (or Russian?), had no energy experience, and was a crackhead. So maybe that's more evidence of how he really shouldn't have gotten the job on his own merits. But even in that context, it's not worth going after since Burisma was chump change compared to the China connections.

We need to make sure that the narrative that we use focuses on the substance, not the distractions.
