I had friends that worked on Wall Street. They said farmers and ranchers were stupid and low stress jobs. I tried to explain how that wasn't true since I had grown up in a ranching family. The east coast elites don't understand how innovative farmers and ranchers need to be to stay in business.

Hats off to our innovative hard working people.

what's highly ironic is these people think the job of farmers and ranchers will soon be replaced by automation

a lot of jobs on Wall Street are getting replaced by automation sooner than anybody else because sophisticated investment computer programs are far more likely to produce consistent gains than human investors over a period of time, because the program is written to follow only market trends and economic data. On the other hand, people make gambles based on "gut instinct" and potentially lose millions based off of emotional decisions.

by the time there are no American citizens employed as farmers because of automation replacement, the only humans left working on Wall Street will be the guys repairing the computers.

Isn't it so. I left the ranch got an education because I didn't want to punch cows for the rest of my life. Made a good living and bought another ranch I guess it's in the blood. I'm just going out to bale hay now.
