They believe in magic sky-money. Insurance companies have it. Rich people have it. The government has it. It's just magical money that materializes out of nowhere. Why won't they share it with the rest of us??
Even worse than that. It's not that the rich won't share, the rich are only rich because the wealth is stolen. From them. They work as hard* as anyone else, so why should anyone make 10x as much or 100x as much just because they have some stupid piece of paper? It's just meetings or whatever, they could do that.
