Well boys it finally happened - my gf and I had vastly different political views but i thought it was working. We just didn't talk about politics. Until it turned out she was watching msm and was becoming emotionally stressed out about a bunch of TDS fake news and resulted in claiming I have tacit support for white supremacy since I voted for Trump. So yea, slept on it and we're breaking up tonight when I get off work.

I know right, hard to believe. apparently my trump key fob proves that I am such a huge supporter that I believe every word that comes outa his mouth - and that means that I'm okay with 'white supremacy' because blah blah blah its just nonsense i know.
Have you asked her what is her evidence for him supporting "white supremacy"?
Why bother? Either:
A) she actually thinks he is a white supremacist. OR B) she is trying to manipulate him by calling him one.
Either option is a relationship ender.
Yep. This absolutely would be the line for me.
Or C) When she fails to come up with a sensible answer, it may plant a logic seed that will bring her to a saner place, maybe quickly (not too likely), maybe slowly down the line, even if it's a few years after the split. I've seen in life some people do change, women and men.
It must be B, because any sane person would end the relationship if their SO was actually a supremacist for any race.
OP - anyone who will attempt to manipulate you like that is evil. You may love her, but it is pure, unadulterated evil. Run. Fast.
Not to say that anybody should be made to feel bad for the color of their skin, but taking pride in the accomplishments of other people just because you share, quite literally, the most superficial of characteristics is pretty lame. It's the same as two meatheads arguing about whose city is better because of the relative success of the two groups of millionaires that aren't from either their cities have in playing a children's game.
Also, there's a good amount of different types of white folk...not all of 'em like each other. My Irish grandpa would be super pissed if you were putting him in the same group as the English and my French grandpa would also be really mad if you putting him with the English...or the Germans. In fact, my parents were both considered somewhat a disappointment for marrying outside their kind (even with the fact there are basically no full-blooded Irish or French people in Texas in the mid 50s when their families came here).
I take pride in my own accomplishments, thank you very much. Fuck everyone else. I mean, good for them, but it does nothin' for me.
