If participation in football Sunday fanfare is a reliable metric of how a state is going to vote, then WI is going red. Days that Packer football is on used to be a lesser holiday. Work & personal schedules would be adjusted to ensure that you were able to be infront of a screen at kickoff, and conversations held with anyone on the day after would be dominated by what happened during that game. Hell, I’ve seen people at church wear a jersey and no one batted an eye. None of this is happening anymore for obvious reasons. I work a blue collar job in the subburbs, and the people I work with would be considered the foundation of the NFL’s fan base. No one talks about football around the shop, because no one gives a damn about it anymore.
This is my first post, happy to be here. And remember to Make It A MAGA Day!!!
Wow. If Wisconsinites are turning their backs on the Packers.... That's amazing.
this is an understatement. Packer Fans are loyal. Go Pack Go!!!! But I haven't watched a game this season. I won't either.
Welcome! MAGA day every day!
the NFL said fuck you to the average American abs told us how racist we are. So yea fuck the NFL and all those kneebros.
Welcome, Pede!!
I heard that Wisconsin will be shutting down bars and restaurants again. Is that the case?
Doubtful, the tavern league here actually has a lot of political power. Our cuck governor signed an order 2 weeks ago that limited bars to 25% capacity, and the tavern league sent a notice out that basically said “get bent”. The county I live in is extremely based, and most bar tenders here don’t even wear masks. Furthermore, the sheriff of this county put a notice out that we are a “sanctuary county” for covid regulations.
Bars that used to be packed for the games are noticeably less so, at least up here.
