OK I'm confused about Bannon. I thought he was fired or at least were told to leave the White House or wherever he was employed at because he wasn't doing stuff Trump wanted him to.

Then when Bannon left, he was badmouthing Trump and trying to organize a "coup" to oppose Trump.

Now I'm seeing Bannon being the "good guy" again so can anyone give me a QRD on who Bannon really is and what happened this whole time?
