They changed the rules last minute in that this debate was supposed to focus on foreign policy. a last minute change has scrapped any discussion of foreign policy. They'll bring up Trumps' taxes, and when Trump attempts to interject Bidens issues, they'll cut him off.
My opinion is Trump needs to skip the debate.
Disagree, he needs to do the debate, but every question that is a repeat of something he's answered before needs to be quickly dismissed and then he uses the balance of his time to hammer Biden on the laptop leak story.

Human lip reading (without technological assistance) averages about 50%. I'm not sure how testing was done. It's possible that human lip reading success percentage could be significantly higher if the lip reader was familiar with Trump's speech patterns as well as the subject matter.
Here's the interesting information that can be gleaned from the article. If you ignore the mistakes which are simply singular for plural noun mistakes, and different conjugations of the same word, the accuracy is around 95%. That is a higher success rate than the dictation program I use on the mornings when my arthritis makes normal typing difficult.
If you wanted even better, you would hire someone familiar with the context of the lip-read speech to "speak" the output in real time.
