I went to a parent teacher meeting with my 1st born son's 2d grade teacher, she insisted we needed to have our son put on adhd drugs because he would doodle and fidget while she was teaching. I asked her 'well, since he's getting 100's and A's on all his work, maybe he's not paying so much attention to your teaching because he's already mastered the work and he's bored?' She went ballistic - absolutely enraged at me for saying she wasn't capable of holding her student's attention, then I told her in my Dad baritone, locked in eye contact with her 'if you try and force a healthy A student onto drugs because your ego is too delicate to handle him not paying attention to you, I will sue the ever loving shit out of you, the principal and the school district, I will make that my life's work!'. She shut the hell up after that and we never heard about it again.
