First term invalidated due to Democrats refusal to peacefully transfer power. Eight more years!

42
ARfreedom 42 points ago +42 / -0

Democrats the first political party in the history of the USA to refuse a peaceful transfer of power. I agree, the first 4 don't count as a real full term, let's "compromise" and say it amounts to 2 years.

36
SpaceManBob 36 points ago +36 / -0

Or we could "compromise" like the left "compromises" and say that his first term actually amounted to -4 years therefore giving him 3 more terms on top of his first. -4 to 0, 0-4, and 4-8 years.

He's got good lawyers that could probably get that awarded. I was thinking call his first term just two years, so that way leftists can't claim that any laws, regulations, executive orders President Trump signed are invalid too.

Peaceful transfer to Don Jr if DJT wants to retire. He will have earned it 1000x over.

8 years 8 scoops 8 justices

2
SoldierofKek 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think since Thomas and alito are in there 70s they should retire, even thou they're great..we don't want to make the same error is Ginsburg. Let the left make the hubris errors. Then....if we're lucky, Breyer bites the big one. What should happen is Roberts should be impeached. He basically refused to protect the constitutional rights of American voters...that's reason enough for me. If he is the same person on Epstein's flight logs,I don't care if Roberts did nothing wrong at all...he should have been well aware of what epstein was up to and the company a federal judge, let alone the chief justice must be beyond reproach, lest he be black mailed. He needs to go.

Would be funny if Feinstein voted for her

87
somethingnew 87 points ago +87 / -0

At this point she may as well do it. Her party is pissed off that she hugged Graham and they are saying she should be removed because she's senile. A yes vote wouldn't really make things worse anyway so might as well give a final fuck you to the people gunning for her seat. She probably won't though

For some people, their careers are all they have left. It’s their entire identity. They know that if they give it up, they’ll have nothing and will fade away

10
HunterBidenCokeMirro 10 points ago +10 / -0

I like to think it is because they sold their soul to the devil and know exactly what waits for them after this life. They cling to the last vestiges of the mortal power they sold themselves for and have the ultimate buyer's remorse there is.

13
Trumper007 13 points ago +13 / -0

Her ego wouldn't allow her to retire with Obama and she fed into the Hillary crap. LOL.

4
zooty 4 points ago +4 / -0

That seems weak though. Trump already got two in his first year so it was at the least likely that Hillary would if she won and there was a chance that she wouldn't. Maybe she just didn't like Obama because he was black."

Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.

2
Meme_Too 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wow. Did she really say that?

2
zooty 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes. The context makes it a bit murky about how she means "we" but just because she was a "feminist" doesn't preclude some underlying racism. As old as she was, it often comes as part of the package. And, I mean, she was a Democrat, after all.

29

They could file an emergency writ, but it's going down to the wire on this. I fear the damage was done here, as Roberts intended.

23

At the very least having her seated might help with any PA lawsuits after the election

6
mmoff2 6 points ago +6 / -0

I'm sorta unfamiliar with this. What can SCOTUS do, if someone challenges election results? Recounts? Can they order a re-election in that state or ?

4
FireannDireach 4 points ago +4 / -0

Oh, she's gonna make a real difference for years to come, as long as she doesn't get under Robert's spell - which I highly doubt. ACB is one of the few bright spots in an utter shitpile of a year.

Some things about SC ruling. Realize it sucked with our CJ issue

1. PA has a two envelope system. Signature. Etc. Very very hard to cheat. Not impossible of course but not as bad as a wide open system.

2. This ruling does go against federal voting laws “I believe” so the portion of ballots post 11/3 can be CN challenges later if need be. R lawyers will be on the ground challenging as it happens I would think.

3. Legislative body picks electors if this is stuck in courts by 12/14 and both houses are R. Good chance they send R delegates.

Wild Card is R legislative body makes a ruling and since this body doesn’t require Governor signature for election law it would stand.

Mittens endorsed her. She says Fentanyl Floyd was killed because of racism. But even so, better than anyone the dems would’ve nominated. And as desperate as conservatives are right now she’ll do in a pinch.

7
ChokingOnARedpill 7 points ago +7 / -0

Hmm, I don't recall her quite saying it like that. She said her and her adopted daughter, who is black, were shocked at what they saw. Most of us were. And most of us agree that it did seem a bit excessive, despite Floyd acting crazy the whole time and the toxicity doing him in. I can definitely understand them seeing it a different way until all the facts came out.

2
CJBarnacle 2 points ago +2 / -0

She went along with the false narrative that Floyd was killed because of racism.

7
Eatinglue 7 points ago +7 / -0

Can you imagine the shitstorm right now if she didnt?

2
zooty 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep, the truth is out there and yet the left and even some of the right media is still gaslighting everyone that Floyd was murdered. Sadly, not the right hill to die on at this time.

2
Eatinglue 2 points ago +2 / -0

I love our enthusiam here, unfortunately politics comes into play sometimes. She may be for us, but she cant be blatent about it. Liberals can be blatent because they have the media.

She’s been vetted for as-written Constitutionality by the President, that has been his biggest forte. And lasting accomplishment.
