I am a fed up Canadian wanting to move to the US. I love Canada but I want more freedom, we are over regulated and over taxed here and it’s getting worse and worse. I am fed up with our current immigration system that’s overwhelmed and screwed up our housing market, average house price is 600,000 in Canada now WTF. I know you guys have to be careful on your immigration numbers too but what is your thoughts on taking in Canadians? It’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE for us to move there and become permanent residents. It might feel impossible, but it's certainly possible for us Canada pedes to become US perm residents! I'm at the tail end of my perm residence process right now.
How long did it take you? I really want to give it a shot. Any advice would be great.
