I like Ben. Some of his initial takes irk me (e.g. Trump mocked a reporter’s disability!), but he corrects himself when he’s wrong. I love his refusal to use mass shooters to gain views. I really love Dennis Prager. His Rational Bible series is great, whether or not you’re religious.

I got red pilled before the 2016 election. Trump had just started to pick up steam, and the whole “he called Mexicans rapists” fiasco had just broken. I thought it sounded ridiculous and incredibly unlikely that a presidential candidate would say something like that, so I watched the entire speech. Not only did he NOT call Mexicans rapists, but he even said that some illegal immigrants are good people. I agreed with the substance of what he said throughout the entire speech. But even then, I was willing to give the haters the benefit of the doubt. Then I caught wind of the Hitler talk, and racist this, racist that.

I started watching rallies, and gradually liking Trump more and more. I decided to vote for him, and was about 90% sure that I was making the right decision. At no point since 2016 have I regretted my vote.

I like Ben's sister a lot more.
