Vice or Vox or one of those faggot sites did a short video about the Active Self Protection YouTube channel a while back, and half of it is talking about users posting violent or insidious things in the comments, which I've never even seen and I've watched probably hundreds of those videos.
ASP is incredible and I highly recommend y'all check him out. I checked out about a year ago because I started getting tired of seeing death and misery so often. I feel it takes from your humanity and starves the soul. It's to educate, not masturbate.
He's definitely done a lot to convince me to take my personal defense a lot more seriously, and I'm sure he's done the same for many others as well, but of course, the video bends over backwards to create some negatives to focus on instead. He also does great breakdowns of police encounters.
Dude is the reason I bring a trauma kit and extra CAT turnaquet with me. I also got CPR certified. It's great if you're carrying for defense but there's so much more to do and learn than just guns. Like I thought pepper spray OC was probably not that useful and look at what is going on today. I only had to use it once against a couple huge dogs that got loose and tried to take a bite out of my ass but it worked!
Just remember, tourniquets need to be applied above the injury, so be safe and apply it to the neck of the stupid bastard who just tried to kill you, but is still breathing.
