I wanted to post this story because we recently saw articles like: DNC Drops Lackluster Fundraising Numbers During Dem Debate, and I think it's important to recognize that the Democratic party as a whole doesn't operate in the same way that the Republican party does. Their primary fundraising vehicles are these so called "dark money" groups because their public modus operandi is to be against wealthy benefactors but they still need that money to be competitive. Opaque groups, like Sixteen Thirty Fund pumped $140 million into the 2018 election, which boosted a lot slew of Democratic candidates and causes. Organizations like The Sixteen Thirty Fund is where the real money that we're going to be up against in the 2020 election is being funneled to.
