r/politics (which doesn't require a login to view) already gives the appearance that everyone hates Trump except his weird "cult followers". We just got out of a quarantine, why would we immediately do it to ourselves? The left is the insane side, why should this be some kind of underground society? Your average person who doesn't create accouts needs to be able to read the content here and click links to posts here.

Staying private just helps Reddit reinforce the narrative that the cucks on r/politics are the norm and those who support the President are the weird outsiders.
