Here's some arguments i've been pondering, might be useful for some pedes out there!

If people say: 'you're a bigot for opposing trans stuff', you can calmly say:

• There's scientific evidence that gender dysphoria is a 'social contagion'
• There's statistical evidence that 40%+ of post-transition trans people try to suicide
• I value human life, and given the above evidence, therefore i think we shouldn't encourage any of this trans stuff, it's putting people's lives at risk
• Would you be open minded enough to consider that i'm being reasonable?

Other tips:

• Always ask plenty of questions before you say anything
• Say 'good question, deserves a good answer which i dont have right now, let me think about that and get back to you' if they corner you, instead of lashing out and burning the bridge
• Think of yourself as an ambassador
