I doubt he made that distinction in himself. A big body of his work was complaining about how the Irish didn't see the light and come to communism and side with minorities against the oppressive white people when they first came to America. Instead they joined the white people and became the oppressors. He probably saw Jews as defectors too, because they were oppressing the Palestinians, when if you ever bothered to crack a history book, you'd know the Palestinians were always hostile with the Jews and refused to share the land and even went so far as to attack them.
In the end there is no reasoning with a commie, somehow over time the bourgeois became the evil capitalist and there are a lot of rich white people, so white people are the bourgeois and the proletariat is just everyone that isn't rich or white, so every minority with the extension to lgbtqqq cause oppression. The funny thing is the proletariat used to represent the working class man, which is predominantly white, but fuck those guys. Unless they prostrate themselves and apologize profusely for their whiteness, they are just as guilty as the evil capitalists. So essentially you as a whitey get the privilege to pay for the welfare and benefits of the truly oppressed marginalized peoples and the best you can hope for is to kiss enough ass to be called an 'ally.'
Here's the funny part: only white people are expected to "abolish" their race. I had no problem with that, growing up and as a young man in the 90's. Then, come to find out it was a prank and everyone in higher ed and media was ramping up 'minority' racialism BIG TIME. Now, I just think "race is there" but isn't or shouldnt be the first lens (or tenth) that people view fellow humans through.
Anyone else notice how Italians are being prepped and fluffed as the next "it" minority group to get their day in the Sun.
I guess they're going through the history books and looking at every group who was discriminated against by white protestants? Or, Anglicans? Or something, I have no idea but would be fun fly-on-the-wall time when they get to Germans who were similarly rounded up like "Japanese Americans"...but will never be similarly prized as victims.
