Two things going on here... I don't know if there's a hard limit on Reddit for two stickies. I thought they penalized you at one point for it. They must have limited us once we were in quarantine because we became ineligible for the front page then.

One other thing, though, is sticky-ing a thread used to disqualify it from the front page, leaving dom admins to intentionally not sticky a good thread. This was after our stickies dominated the front page because of all the attention.

It feels good not to have these stupid rules.
