When I first started using Reddit I was impressed with how pleasant people acted, as opposed to Facebook. But after using it now for 5 years it has really gone to a very dark place. The hate, nastiness, anger is now over the top. I’m glad this site was setup and I personally can get away from Reddit, because I love my life and Reddit makes me want to hate people.

I remember the good old days of the internet...where everyone was a troll, you didn’t believe anything posted and no one got banned bc someone’s fe fes got hurt on an anonymous message board. I guess this is what we get for handing out participation trophies
