I have to think now that the Democrats have "Blown their wad" on Peach Mints and technically have nothing but hearsay & "He hurt my feelings" those Democrats in red areas have to be feeling nervous.
I think this is why they delayed the IG Report. Drop the report now and toss in a few indictments and the rats will be scrambling for cover.
And this is where our constitutional checks and balances fall down, because why should they care? They will just get a "board position" somewhere for life.
I made a prediction on the "OLD" site (I love saying that lol) last evening -
I'm gonna call it now. They WILL bring this to a vote, but all the dem reps in vulnerable districts (those won by Trump in 2016) and probably a few more in borderline districts, will be told by dem leadership not only can they vote no if they feel they need to to win their own elections, they will be TOLD to vote no.
This is the only way I can think of to get out of this somewhat gracefully (I'm being kind in that remark). The leadership can claim they TRIED to do it and appease the left, but shucks and gosh darn it, we only missed by x number of votes.

They should lose their seats regardless.

They will NEVER let this go to the Senate.
