The practice of publishing tax returns has been implemented for career politicians, to make sure that a politician who spent all his adult life living off of tax payers’ money, did not use his political offices to accumulate extraordinary wealth (which could only be done by being corrupt, since salaries of career politicians don’t allow to become a billionaire). If a politician is a billionaire according to the tax returns, he should not be allowed to run for office of POTUS.
This concept does not apply to Trump. Everybody already knows, that he is a billionaire. And we know, that he earned his money in the private sector, not from tax payers. So forcing him to comply with a unwritten rule, that has been created for career politicians, is nothing but bullying.
How can people be so ignorant and evil at the same time?
