Cosby himself has spoken on how he fended off the (((network))) trying to meddle with the show and project him or Theo as "typical" black men so that black audiences "could relate" to the show better. That really offended him and his refusal to let the (((them))) tarnish the image of the Cosby family created tension between himself and the (((network))).
