Regardless, if there's a sign up saying the store wants you to wear the mask, I oblige. I see those videos of the screaming Karens arguing with the store owners to "own the employees" and I think they're as stupid as libs. I have no problem if you want to do that because you're unsure of the store's policy, and will go without a ruckus if they do want to enforce the policy.

I wouldn't say in 95% of the cases they aren't the stores rules. However misguided, the store owner might think they're protecting their employee's and their health. I know a dude with a disorder that compromises his immune system, but he has to work so he really wants people to wear the masks. I don't know if the masks actually help, but he has that right in his business.
