As it becomes more and more clear that the SCOTUS will be hearing 2020 Election cases, I hope this decision eases some fears about ACB being "compromised," "easily bullied," or whatever other stupid shit many of you have been saying.

If you all actually believe GEOTUS is a 4D chess master (he is) who had the foresight to know a couple years ago that this was how the election was going to play out (seems likely, considering his 2018 post-election actions), I would hazard to guess that his pre-nomination interview with ACB probably covered this very topic.

A lot of people here get all nervous about Gorsuch and Kavanaugh unnecessarily, also. I think they have each sided with Democrats on a case or two. People forget - the court is not a "left or right" body (though it is framed that way by most everybody), but a "constitutional or not" body. If they can justify their opinions in that context I have no issue with any justice "siding against" their party.
