The first amendment is clear. They’re not supposed making rulings to approve of or promote a religion in government.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

I’m a religious man, but I don’t believe in promoting my beliefs through the use of government. It’s unconstitutional. But if someone wants to send their kid to a Christian academy, I’m all for it. Heck, I went to a Christian school myself!
