After you see the raw numbers, order the chart by deaths/population to normalize. Makes it easier to see how some states are doing better than others, and how some states have really fucked it up drastically worse than most others (NJ, NY, Mass,...). What do those states have in common?

Keep in mind that the numbers of deaths were minimized in most states in early spring, and embellished in many states over the summer and until now. Also that the number of cases are complete bullshit at this point.

Also, depending on which data you're looking at and at what time of day you're looking, it might be best to click on yesterday to have a complete daily set of data. And also also, many states vary in how they report the data day to day, so any particular day's data can be up or down (no data on Sundays, for example), so if you really want to know what's happening now in some state, go into that state and look at the graphs and click on the running 7 day average.

I'm convinced that denying hydroxycloroquine to patients in early stages of disease resulted in many deaths. But forcing infected people into nursing homes murdered many tens of thousands. Murdered.
