I genuinely LOATHE how the police think it's cute to refer to CITIZENS as "civilians" , when they are NOT members of the US armed forces, and while they have obligations beyond those of people who are not law enforcement (which used to be called, peace officers) they are just citizens too, not superduper special citizens above the law, as they all too obviously think. Thank you for using 'citizens' instead of 'civilians' ; I hate it when non cops use their lingo.
