I don't agree with Hamilton's perspective, but he was the moving force that replaced the Articles of Confederation. I actually like the Articles of Confederation being far more limiting, but I don't believe it would have been as resilient for 200+ years. Imagine how many Democrats would lose their minds if each state got equal power regardless of population. I think we would have never achieved Manifest Destiny amongst 50 states.

I also credit Hamilton with recognizing the need for competing branches & a Senate.
