So anon is very wrong here, at least his second paragraph. Oasis were not even remotely obscure. That was a wildly popular song in the States and obviously in the UK. They were briefly, and incorrectly compared to the Beatles. My mother even listened to them. Just because a 4 chan poster wasn't aware of a bands success does not make them obscure or unknown.
