Reason: None provided.

They are all socioeconomic philosophies. Their ideal scenarios as taught in textbooks never fully represent their actual practical implementations.

Capitalism believes in a free and open market, where the market dictates the winners and losers. Winners in capitalism tend to be those that produce the best product possible in the market while still being profitable to the producer. Therefore there is an incentive to perform better than others to be successful, this drives innovation, which improves everyone’s life. A rising tide lifts all ships.

Socialism believes that everyone should be equal, no winners or losers. Wealth is shared, it was designed to get capitalist workers to revolt against their bosses. Promises of a single class, and all needs are provided to you by the work of everyone else, with the idea that you also work. Yet we all know that everyone doesn’t pull their fair share. Socialism’s allure is that you can’t fail you can’t go without. Social security is a good example of socialism, designed to give everyone a “safety net”.

Communism takes socialism a step further by which the government has full control over every aspect of your life. They dictate your rights, your job, your choices (if you get any), what you eat, what you “own” (nothing), where you live, how you live, what you think, what you learn...you get the point.

The real crux of all these philosophies is that resources are finite. Therefore in socialism and communism the rulers, a small elite decides who gets what and how much of it. Capitalism says you decide what and how much you get not the government. If you want a little, work a little, if you want a lot work a lot harder, be smarter.

Capitalism also highlights that government does not produce anything, and provides no real incentive to do so and innovation is stagnant. Communists realized this long ago and and found that without providing the incentive of bullet to the head, their people would not produce or innovate. In capitalism the incentive is to be better than the next guy. In communism the incentive is to not die like the last guy did with a hole in your head.

Socialism exists solely to fight capitalism, it’s the sexy ad to capitalists to try and hate the bad things that come with capitalism while ignoring all the good. Once you’ve been sucked into it bam, your cool, hip AOC is now controlling every thing you need and want. Declares herself ruler for life and kills all that disagree because socialism took your individual voice, it’s what’s best for “everyone”, it took your property and made you lay down your arms to get that free cheddar. No one chooses communism for themselves, it’s chosen for them.
