They are renowned Deer, Elk , Wild Hog etc scent hounds ,l always pay attention to mine when it is testing the wind on mountain ridges etc while hunting deer in thick brush & sit down and glass the area ,we just scored our 35th Deer/Elk together a few weeks ago.I still run my Lab as my main duck etc dog . Mine has been outstanding on pheasant & grouse & is getting better on Quail ,but the cold knocks them around when hunting for a extended time .

I will stick a post up on my Sako the Vizsla with our 35th later as one of the guys wanted to see my 7mm SAUM in the field .
