The Muslims were in their prime then some guy named Al Ghazali came around and said mathematics is evil and strays people from God and exactly as it happened in Europe before they plunged into darkness, so did Islam and now look at them. Living in authoritarian governments backed by illiterate populations that birth 5 kids a woman without any regard for resources, management or financial regard.
