Rural citizens stabilize a country. They’re not going to be at the forefront of any social progressy type shit and that’s a good, moderating, feature imo. Rural America is the section of society that most gradually came around on gay marriage, civil rights, etc. It’s also the section of society that still loves the country and doesn’t at the drop of a hat throw everything into disorder on the advice of some gender studies doofuses. If the cities were in charge we’d have Cardi B running the country.

Urban centers drive innovation and produce some good things too, but the people there can easily become a hive mind and forget about where the food comes from. They are the lemmings.
