No word yet on from "boots on the ground" verifying Roger Stone's claims. Both my brothers, one a sternman, one a captain, have hauled their traps for the season. Only off shore fishing now, and that's a whole different set of guys and info that gets passed. But, I've still two lines in the water. My captain bro's former captain, a well-known Maine boat builder, who's BF neighbor is a conservative environmental lawyer in DC (Got them both trolling now! Yay!), and my captain bro's BF, die hard conservative, who owns 4 lobster pounds and ships world wide. Multimillionaire, though you wouldn't know it to see him. Looks like a derp, but got his finger on the pulse of everything on the East Coast and Eastern Canada. Coastal Maine, none of the organizations are meeting due to Covid. They all belong to Odd Fellows or Masons. So it's slow, the info flow, especially if half the fleet or better isn't tuned in because they're not out there. But I'm working on it. My guys are intrigued, and winter sucks here. Hoping they give me intel soon. That's my report.
