Hate to be that guy but the mRNA is read by ribosomes in the cytoplasm which produce the viral surface protein the mRNA encodes. This viral surface protein is then presented to immune cells, which can then make neutralizing antibodies to that viral protein thus granting you immunity. How does this change your DNA which stays in the nucleus the entire time? I’m genuinely interested in learning the mechanism so please show me.
