If you have space for it, you can also freeze milk. After it thaws the milk solids separate so shake well before drinking it, adding to cereal, etc. You won't be able to bake with it but it tastes the same.

Edit: I do this with milk, milk-based coffee creamer, and other milk products. I don't like to waste so if I near an expiration date, I throw it in the freezer until I am ready to use it.
