The only applicable gun laws are: When you are an armed multitude and outnumber your foe 500 to 1, there are no gun laws. Nor much need to actually apply those arms.

Jan 6th, I'm reminded of Gandhi's 1930 march of 240 miles to the sea, to make salt. It was an act of civil disobedience. The British had ruled it illegal for Indians to 'make salt' - the simple act of evaporating sea water to extract salt - an essential for life. His walk eventually led to the overthrow of British rule.

Gandhi also commented that had the Indian people not given up their arms, the long and bloody struggle of civil disobedience would not have been necessary.
