Has Russia ever threatened to remove anything from their country because they found it offensive? Maybe. But I can't think of any examples.

But China has a national firewall, they censor just about everything. Hollywood recuts movies, just for the Chinese market. The NBA, our companies, maps, ect... Even stuff we see in America, it's so subtle we don't even notice it. It's mostly omission. China is the nefarious player, 1000%.

The Chinese and Russians always have had a dicey relationship, all throughout communist times. Chinese are no doubt encouraging misdirection into the Russians.
