This is what is potentially controversial are the unknown long term effects, in both cellular division critical points and reinfection immune responses. The issue here is that it doesn't give you immunity, you still have to isolate/social distance/wear masks, and it "wears off" within a few months requiring further injections....all while having a 3% chance of incurring side effects for a virus with a survivability rate of 99.8%.
